Ingredients:
- apple: 1 psc;
- sugar: 2 tablespoons;
- cinnamon: 0.5 teaspoon;
- almond flakes: 2 tablespoons;
- puff pastry: 300 g;

1. Prepare the Apple:
Wash and dry the apple. Cut it in half and remove the core. Slice each half into thin slices.

2. Prepare the Dough:
Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into 5 or 6 even strips.

3. Add the Filling:
Sprinkle a line of sugar down the center of each strip. Then sprinkle with cinnamon and almond flakes.

4. Arrange the Apples:
Lay the apple slices along the center of each strip, overlapping slightly. Make sure the skin side of the apple slices faces up.

5. Form the Roses:
Fold the bottom edge of the dough strip upward to partially cover the apple slices. Gently roll each strip with the apples into a spiral to form a rose shape.

6. Bake the Roses:
Place each rose into a muffin tin to help it hold its shape during baking. Sprinkle with additional sugar and almond flakes, if desired.

7. Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (340°F) for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

8. Finish and Serve:
Let the apple roses cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
